Seasonal Store Associate
Pay Range: $12-15/hr
Commitment: 15-20 hours a week
Oct. 15th - December 31st.  
11am - 7pm
Lcoation: Downtown Lansing (S. Washington Square)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Processes customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team
• Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
• Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:
• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 25 pounds, on shelving at various heights
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner
• Meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Personal Assistant

Job Overview:
The Personal Assistant will provide administrative support to owner, Nikki Thompson Frazier.  This will range from managing her calendar, overseeing all correspondence (and social media messages), and overseeing the details of event. 
To ensure success, the PA must exhibit excellent organizational skills and be well versed in calendaring and word processing software.  Looking for a PA that is intuitive and can anticipate the needs of owner and work to provide customized administrative support. 
Key Duties:
  • Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
  • Invoicing and billing customers.
  • Helping updating content on website. 
  • Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management.
  • Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
  • Typing up recipes and helping with creating business documents.
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders; and handling setting up zoom meetings.
  • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as needed.
  • Ordering office supplies, equipment, and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services.
  • Observing best business practices and etiquette.
Key Qualifications:
Personal Assistant Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in secretarial work, office administration, or related training.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant would be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced typing, note-taking, recordkeeping, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage internal and external correspondence.
  • Working knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Proficiency in appointment scheduling software such as MS Outlook, as well as call forwarding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
