Service Description

This is a week long camp Monday thru Friday from 9am - 11:30am. July 11th - 15th. Monday: Intro into baking and science of flour in baked goods. Make a cake. Tuesday: Chemistry of cookies and how they bake in the oven with all the components. Wednesday: Acidic and alkaline reactions in baking, have kids make two of the same recipes but in one of them add the wrong thing and see how much of a difference it makes. Thursday: Making bread and learn about yeast. Friday: Finale, and education about eggs through creating a meringue. Classes are 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise noted above You will work with other students in groups. Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
